Hotel Mignon Padova : Directions

Our hotel is located in the center of Padova, in the street that from Prato della Valle takes you to Sant’Antonio.

The hotel is easily reachable by car following the directions called Basilica Sant'Antonio and Prato della Valle.

Moreover it is very well served by public transportations, buses and metrobuses that pass right in front of the hotel with their route towards the train station and east, south and north accesses to the city of Patavina.
The area is very quiet and it is reachable also by car. Nearby the parking area of Piazza Rabin is also available.

The strategic Padova’s position, center of Veneto, is also used as base for excursions to the near lagoon city of Venice local, regional and intercity trains that link to the city in 30 minutes, with frequent trips (every 15-30 minutes), or to get to the close town called  Abano Terme, which is popular for its water and thermal spa.

Padova – winner of the prize called “The city for the green” (“La Città per il Verde”) – has 2.512 km2 of green areas, which 1.680 km2 is for equipped green and 115km2 for  cycle tracks (many of them are located into the historical center as well). The city represents a natural and conscious way to live culture and history of the medieval city, founded by Antenore as tradition says, without chaos and pollution caused by big metropolitan cities.

Locations you shouldn’t miss when you visit Padova - besides Prato della Valle (the biggest Italian Square and one of the more wide of Europe) and the close Basilica del Santo (travelers destination during the whole year) – are the following:

The center of the city, venue for several cult locations  (Basilica del Carmine, Santa Giustina abbey and the lt Cappella degli Scrovegni which has a pretty famous Giotto’s fresco) interesting buildings like Palazzo del Boand Caffè Pedrocchi

Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza della Frutta, with their suggestive and historical aspect (located between the two facades of the Palazzo della Regione). They have a daily nice fruit and vegetable market, while nightlife is animated by young people who enjoy the spritz "ritual"
